Embraer has delivered the first Phenom 100E to Etihad Flight College from a May 2015 order for four of the entry-level business jets, plus three options.
The Garmin G1000-equipped aircraft arrived on 12 June arrived at the school’s Al Ain base, where it will be used to train Etihad Airways’ growing pilot population.

A second Phenom 100E is scheduled for delivery in late June, and the two remaining aircraft will be handed over in early 2017, says Embraer.
Etihad Flight College’s general manager, Philip Chandler, describes the six-seat twinjet as “an exciting new asset for Etihad Flight College. Our flight college is a world-class training facility, producing a constant stream of well-trained, highly-skilled pilots – the majority of whom are Emirati – for the growing operations of Etihad Airways.”
