Embraer has clinched an order from energy company China Sonangol International Holding for two Legacy 600 business jets. The deal marks the first sale by the Brazilian airframer of a business aircraft into mainland China.

"The business we are in requires frequent travelling of our top executives as well as transportation of our customers around China and the neighbouring regions. The Legacy 600 meets our needs," says China Sonangol International vice-chairman Lo Fong Hung.

The Legacy 600s will be registered in China.
