Brazilian airframe manufacturer Embraer has appointed Mauricio Botelho president and chief executive. He replaces Juarez Wanderley, who was the interim president during the transition period, which followed the carrier's privatisation. Wanderley becomes vice-president of industry under a new management structure. Botelho has held management positions in engineering, telecommunications, automation systems and finance.
