Emirates inaugura
Having taken delivery of its first Boeing 777-200 on 5 June, Emirates operated its inaugural service with the type to London Heathrow on 24 June. The Rolls-Royce Trent-powered-aircraft will be used on the airline's services to Europe and Australia.
