Middle East carrier Emirates' senior vice-president for flight operations Chris Knowles has resigned from his position at the airline. He is to leave the company on a "mutually-agreed date", says the airline. Emirates has not indicated the reasons for Knowles' departure and has not said where he will be going after leaving the Dubai-based carrier. The airline has not identified a replacement for the position.
