Emirates has signed a service contract with Hawker Pacific for the landing gear on its Boeing 777 fleet.
The contract covers the exchange, overhaul and support for landing gear on Emirates’ 21 Boeing 777-200, -200ER and -300 aircraft.
Hawker Pacific is a 100% subsidiary of the German maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider Lufthansa Technik (C503).
Adel Al Redha, Emirates’ executive vice-president engineering and operations, says: “Emirates is pleased to enter into this contract with the Lufthansa Technik Group and to receive support for all our requirements for landing gear service from one single source.
“This new agreement is a further milestone in the co-operative relationship between two renowned and sizeable players."
