UAE carrier Emirates is to launch daily flights to the Hungarian capital Budapest this winter using Airbus A330s.
The Dubai carrier will operate two-class configured A330s seating 278 passengers on the route which operates out of Dubai International airport.
"We’ve been working really hard with Emirates over the last five years to place fast growing Budapest on their network radar and I have absolutely no doubt that this new daily service will be extremely popular in connecting Hungary to the world in parallel," says Budapest Airport chief executive officer Jost Lammers.
Central European budget carrier Wizz Air already connects Budapest with Dubai World Central airport.
