Emivest Aerospace is planning to deliver in September the first SJ30 light business jet under its new ownership structure.
Dubai-based Emivest purchased Sino Swearingen in June 2008. Jet Works Air Center's Denton, Texas facility is putting the final touches to aircraft serial number 8 including painting, extra avionics such as HF radios, and in-flight entertainment system installation.
Handover preparations coincide with the first flight of aircraft serial number 10 from Emivest's San Antonio, Texas-based production facility.
The seven-seat aircraft - registration N30GZ - will be handed over during the fourth quarter to actor Morgan Freeman. Emivest is planning to tool up to achieve a steady state build rate of 45-50 aircraft a year by the end of 2010.
