Fokker's eight-year bankruptcy process has finally ended, with the announcement by the company's trustees that the last of its liquid assets, totalling €69 million ($81.8 million) will be divided among creditors this week. The final settlement will pay creditors of Fokker Air-craft with 100%of their claims; creditors of the Fokker holding company will receive 37%.

Fokker declared bankruptcy in 1996. Maintenance operation Fokker Aircraft Services was not affected. Manufacturing rights for Fokker's aircraft range are now held by fellow Dutch aerospace manufacturer Stork.
