Space Shuttle orbiter OV-105 Endeavour is awaiting its engines as it is processed for mission STS-118, its first flight in almost five years, scheduled for launch no earlier than 28 June. NASA's youngest orbiter underwent a lengthy overhaul from December 2003 to October 2005 following mission STS-113, flown in November 2002. A new satellite navigation system and glass cockpit have been installed. The GPS capability will allow Endeavour to land at any runway long enough to handle the Shuttle. Previously it could only land at military bases.
