Rockwell Collins Aviation Services has developed what it claims is the world's largest in-flight entertainment (IFE) maintenance base, at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport.
The base was set up primarily to support Air France, but handles over 60 aircraft daily for Air Tahiti Niu, American Airlines, Qantas, TAM, US Airways and Vietnam Airlines. It also undertakes IFE work on Aeroflot aircraft when they are at Air France for maintenance, and plans to offer avionics support.
