Air Canada has hired MRO provider EPCOR to maintain the auxiliary power units (APU) on the Toronto carrier's fleet of Boeing 787s, EPCOR announces.
The agreement includes spare parts and calls for the work to be done at EPCOR's facility in Amsterdam.
Air Canada's 787s have United Technologies' APS5000 APUs, says EPCOR.
The agreement covers a total of 37 aircraft. Air Canada has already taken delivery of four 787-8 and has outstanding orders for 11 of those models and for 22 787-9s, according to the Ascend Fleets database.
Netherlands-based EPCOR is a subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance.
