Etihad Airways has expanded its codeshare partnership with Air Malta as the Gulf carrier starts flights to Rome.
The Abu Dhabi-based airline is placing Air Malta’s code on its flights to the Italian capital, while the Maltese carrier is carrying Etihad’s on its services between Rome and the Mediterranean archipelago.
Etihad will additionally place Air Malta codes on its existing flights to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney as well as a new route to Perth.
The partnership previously covered Etihad’s flights from Abu Dhabi to Brussels, London and Manchester.
