Europe has placed operating restrictions on further airlines to its blacklist, bringing the total number of operators to almost 180. This includes another 81 operators in the African states of Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Swaziland, on which the EU has placed a blanket ban.
