The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) has signed a contract with Eurockot to launch the Microvariability and Oscillations of Stars (MOST) microsatellite on a Rockot mission from Plesetsk, Russia in October next year.

The Rockot will be the first KS version, equipped with the Breeze KS upper stage.

The CSA launch will also be demonstrating a new Eurockot service, which is being introduced to provide piggy-back flights for smaller payloads flying with a prime spacecraft.

The 60kg (132lb) MOST is being built by Dynacom and the Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies.
