Several hundred helicopter pilots from across Asia will pass through the doors of Eurocopter South-East Asia’s new regional training school each year, once its doors open by the end of 2006.
Announcing the establishment of the centre yesterday, based here in Singapore, the company said that the centre will offer a range of training, including refresher courses and recurrent training. Pilot instructors will have expertise across the Eurocopter fleet and there will also be simulator capability.
Eurocopter has selected the EC120B Colibri as the training platform for the rotary-wing course programme.
