BAE Systems has rolled out the first Eurofighter Instrumented Production Aircraft (IPA), ahead of a first flight expected on 14 April. IPA1, built at BAE's Warton factory in north-west England, will be used for trials, including the Defensive Aids Subsystem. The first Eurofighter is due to be handed over to the Royal Air Force later this year.
