EuroMil has rolled out its Mi-38 prototype at Kazan Helicopters' final assembly plant ready for maiden flight this month. A six-month flight-test programme is planned says the company, a joint venture between Mil Design bureau, Kazan and Eurocopter. The latter is seeking to sell its 33% stake in the project due to legislation changes in Russia.
