EUROPA AVIATION says that it has sold almost 230 kits for its Europa light aircraft, with customers in 20 countries.

The first customer-completed aircraft, one of which was on show at the recent Popular Flying Association rally at Cranfield, in the UK, are to be flown shortly.

Europa kits are sold in stages, with the tail as Stage 1, the wing as Stage 2 and the fuselage as Stage 3. Sales manager Alizon Holland says that 110 fuselages have now been delivered.

Europa has its own US operation based in Lakeland, Florida, which has sold 14 kits direct, but 141 of the sales so far have been to UK customers.
