Sales of the Europa kit aircraft have passed the 800 mark with the latest sale of a Europa XS. Kits have been sold to 32 countries, with more than 250 Rotax 914T-powered Europa aircraft now flying. The sales milestone has been achieved in less than eight years, making the aircraft the fastest-selling UK civil light aircraft ever built, according to Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire, UK-based Europa Aircraft. The Europa kit family comprises the original Europa XS Monowheel, a tri-gear version featuring a conventional tricycle undercarriage arrangement, and a Motor Glider version. First deliveries of the latter, which features longer wings, have recently started to the USA.
