German regional carrier Eurowings saw sales leap by over 20% last year to hit DM586 million ($322 million). Passenger numbers increased by nearly one-third. A similar rise is in prospect this year, with a sales target of DM720 million. Growth comes on the back of a steady expansion of the fleet, which now stands at 27 ATR turboprops, 10 British Aerospace 146s and three Airbus A319s. The airline recorded net profits of nearly DM9 million.
