At presstime, Iberia was still talking to Brussels about its state aid package, but contingency plans are in place if the full amount is refused. The carrier reported an operating profit of Pta25.4 billion ($205 million) for the nine months to 30 Sept- ember, double the projected amount, but equity dropped Pta9.6 billion.
