EW F-18 under development
McDONNELL DOUGLAS (MDC) and Northrop Grumman have formally agreed to develop jointly a derivative of the F-18E/F Hornet strike aircraft as an electronic-warfare (EW) aircraft. It is proposed as a replacement for Northrop Grumman's EA-6B Prowler early in the next century.
