Air Atlanta Icelandic has placed three of its four Boeing 767-200s on a five-year lease with UK charter airline Excel Airways. Air Atlanta recently received two of the General Electric CF6-powered aircraft from Britannia Airways, one from Air Europa and the other from Air New Zealand. Excel will base two aircraft at London Gatwick and the third at Manchester. The fourth 767 will operate from Keflavik on weekdays for Icelandic travel agency, Sam-vinn Travel, and for Excel Airways from Glasgow at weekends.
