Execujet Aviation has entered into a joint venture with Indonesia's Dimitri Utama Abadi for the management of general aviation terminals at 13 airports in Indonesia.
The joint venture will be called Execujet Indonesia, says Execujet. The announcement follows a memorandum of understanding signed in May 2012 between Execujet and state-owned airport operator Angkasa Pura 1, under which Execujet agreed to design, construct and manage the general aviation terminals.
"The signing of this joint venture agreement is the next step in ExecuJet establishing operations in Indonesia, which we view as an important strategic location for ExecuJet's Southeast Asia expansion," says Execujet Asia managing director Graeme Duckworth.
"ExecuJet Indonesia will manage the general aviation terminals in east Indonesia to the same standards and service levels delivered at our 16 other fixed base operations around the world," he adds. "Partnering with [Dimitri Utama chief executive] Soetikno Soedarjo, a successful and well-respected entrepreneur in Indonesia, positions the joint venture for many more opportunities in the near future, some of which are already under review."
