Taiwan's EVA Air has a new president and a new chairman in line with its policy of regularly moving senior executives into different positions within the group.

The carrier, owned by the Evergreen Group, has promoted president Steve Lin to chairman and replaced him in the top executive role with KW Chang, who was previously chief executive vice-president. New EVA Air president KW Chang joined the group in 1996 and has spent most of his career with the airline, holding his current position since 2003.

New chairman Lin joined the Evergreen Group in 1976.
