Angel Ernesto Zaballa has become general manager and Raúl Espinoza chief financial officer at Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano (LAB) following the airline's takeover by its unions after six stormy months. Zaballa, an economist, was LAB's former administrator. Majority owner Ernesto Asbun has resigned, relinquished his shares, and left Bolivia.

Richard Forson, the chief financial officer of Qatar Airways, has left after two years. He was formerly the finance head of South African Airways.

Icelandic transport investor Avion Group has promoted Hannes Hilmarsson to the position of chief executive Air Atlanta Icelandic.

JetBlue Airways has appointed Mark Powers as treasurer and vice-president corporate finance, replacing John Harvey who was recently made chief financial officer of the carrier. Powers joins the US low-cost carrier from investment bank SkyWorks Capital, where he was an associate.

EasyJet's operations director Mike Szucs has resigned to "pursue other opportunities". He has been succeeded by former Air2000 founder and managing director Ken Smith.
