The new president of the ICAO Council Roberto Kobeh González officially took over from Dr Assad Kotaite at the beginning of August. Kotaite retired after 30 years. Kobeh has been Mexico's representative on the ICAO Council since 1998.
Alan McDonald, the director of engineering at British Airways is retiring after 40 years at the airline. He is being succeeded by Garry Copeland, currently general manager quality and engineering services.
Former BA sales chief Dale Moss has resigned from India's Jet Airways as its chief operating officer after just a few weeks in the post.
Southwest Airlines has promoted Mike Van de Ven to executive vice-president and chief of operations. He will report to the carrier's chief executive Gary Kelly.
