Polish flag carrier LOT is now on its third chief executive in almost as many months. It has selected former energy industry executive Piotr Siennicki as its new head.
Royal Brunei Airlines has appointed Ahmad Hj Ibrahim as acting chief executive to replace Mohd Yusof Pg Hj Jeludin, who has returned to Brunei's civil service. The new acting chief executive was already a member of the carrier's board, which has been without a permanent chief executive since the departure of Peter Foster in August 2005.
Ron Sumsum, Solomon Airlines director of flight operations, has become interim chief executive for the South Pacific airline following Joseph Anea's departure. Sumsum is a former head of Air Vanuatu.
US low-fares carrier Sun Country Airlines has named Stephen Spellman as chief finance officer and chief operating officer.
Industry veteran Des Vertannes has been named by Etihad as the new executive vice-president of its Crystal Cargo division. Vertannes arrives from Gulf Air where he served under new Etihad boss James Hogan.
