Cash shortages have delayed the production of a Soyuz booster to launch the Russian Soyuz TM23 to the Mir 1 space station in December. The launch will be delayed until February 1996, resulting in an extended stay in space by the TM22 crew, aboard the station. The 135-day mission by the TM22 crew, which includes European Space Agency, German astronaut Thomas Reiter will last 44 days longer.
