A lifejacket for aircraft passengers, which only needs to be serviced every 20 years, is one of the key products on display by Beaufort Air-Sea Equipment (Hall 2/J13).

The new MK20 (SV) jacket has won approval from both the CAA and the FAA, and British-based Beaufort claims the product will offer airlines substantial cost savings without a compromise in safety performance. The MK20 is already in service with commercial operators including Britannia and Monarch.

Beaufort is offering potential customers at Le Bourget the entire range of safety and survival equipment from single-seat liferafts and aircrew lifepreservers to specialist submarine escape equipment.
