Thomson Training and Simulation has taken an order for its 16th Lockheed Martin F-16 simulator.

The subsidiary of Thomson-CSF has been selected by Lockhead Martin Tactical Airport Systems to deliver the Unit Level Trainer to support the Pakistan Air Forces's air-to-air tactical training. It is due to enter service in early 1999.

F-16 simulators made by Thomson Training and Simulation are already being used by air forces in Asia and deliveries of F-16 devices to three European air forces are due to begin before the end of 1997.
