Flight testing of the Boeing F/A-18E/F has passed 1,500h and is approaching 1,000 flights. Seven aircraft are in flight testing at the US Navy's Patuxent River, Maryland, test centre. Various external-stores configurations are being flight tested and ground testing is under way.
