Honeywell's runway awareness and advisory system (RAAS), aimed at reducing airport surface accidents, has been certificated by the US Federal Aviation Administration. The RAAS, hosted in the company's enhanced ground proximity warning system, will be in the latest software loads for the MkV and MkVII versions of its ground proximity devices.
