The German Flight Design CT and Czech Evektor SportStars have been approved as the first two aircraft qualifying as special light-sport aircraft by the US Federal Aviation Administration, contrary to information initially provided by the US agency (Flight International, 19-25 April). The Evektor is to be sold by Texas-based Sport Aircraft International and the CT by New Jersey-based FlightStar.
