The FAA, in its latest annual 10-year rolling forecast, predicts that domestic US and international boardings will not reach pre-11 September levels until 2005. Total international passenger numbers to and from the USA will also take until 2005 to get back to mid-2001 level. Yields are expected to fall by just over a half percent both domestically and internationally over the next decade. FAA predicts US commercial airline enplanements will grow by 3.9% annually and reach 996 million by 2014.
