Dassault’s Falcon 7X business jet brought its tally of flights to just 19 after taking part in the air display at Paris. The long-range trijet had just resumed its test programme the previous week after a 15-day break to calibrate its instrumentation for the next display of flight testing. Chief pilot Philippe Deleume says this allowed Dassault to raise and lower the 7X’s landing gear when it flew on the first three days of the show. The rest of the time the aircraft was on the static display, where Deleume says the reception from potential buyers has been “very good indeed”. Dassault has “so far found what we expected” from the test programme, he says.
