The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has lost its first Lockheed Martin F-16E Block 60 fighter to an accident, with the single-seat aircraft’s pilot ejecting during a training flight on 9 January. The UAE is to receive a total of 80 F-16E/Fs by 2007.
