The first retrofit of a Dassault Falcon 50 business jet with Rockwell-Collins Pro Line 4 integrated avionics developed for the improved Falcon 50EX is now under way, and is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 1996. Rockwell-Collins says that some 160 Falcon 50s, have been targeted for retrofit with the new digital avionics, which include large- format electronic displays.

Turkish business jet charter company Air Sapphire has been heavily fined by the US government for flying a Gulfstream GIV to Russia without authorisation.
The Federal Aviation Administration has ordered inspections of the Gulfstream G500 and G600 fleet in response to a “quality escape” involving improperly installed engine-mounting hardware.
