BAE Systems Regional Aircraft has announced new deals involving sales and leases of aircraft, as well as avionics upgrades for existing customers.

Italian regional carrier Club Air Sixgo has doubled its BAe 146 fleet with the lease of two series 200s. The first was delivered at the end of May, with the second following last month.

BAE Regional also scored a hit with Colombian carrier Aerolínea de Antioquia (ADA), which is buying three Jetstream 32EPs. Medellín-based ADA will take its first J32 this month, followed by a second in August and the final aircraft in November. The aircraft will replace de Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otters. Meanwhile, BAE Regional has secured over £4 million ($7 million) worth of modification business in the first half of 2004. The orders cover both mandatory and upgrade modifications for BAe 146/Avro RJs from customers including Eurowings, FlyBe, SN Brussels and Swiss International Air Lines.
