Pink Floyd, Westlife, J-Lo, The Black Eyed Peas – you wouldn’t have thought these musicians would have much in common. But all have used the event management and logistics expertise of Tourpro, one of the UK’s top event organisers.

This week the London-based company took a break from ferrying its traditional rock’n’roll clients to gigs. Instead it was playing a key role in Flight International’s own 100th birthday and awards evening, ferrying industry guests back and forth to the TAG facility at Farnborough.

Tourpro’s luxury vehicle fleet, including its blacked-out 8-seater Mercedes mini tour buses, are becoming a familiar sight at airports, taking clients to their business jets. But Tourpro is also seeing its client base widen as a result of the whole corporate industry expansion. “Our vehicles are regularly booked for school proms, graduations, corporate football and other sporting events,” says head of business development Alison Hussey.

Tourpro’s workforce has accumulated 20 years in the chauffeur industry. The company also works closely with Greys of London, an established name which serves corporate clients at airports including Farnborough, London City Airport and the London Battersea Heliport. Greys is also the preferred chauffeur company at Oxford Airport’s new business aviation facility, Oxfordjet, which opened this week

Just last week Tourpro signed a partner agreement with Chabé Limousines in Paris which covers chauffeur requirements throughout France and Monte Carlo.
