CIT Aerospace, one of the world’s major aircraft leasing organisations, has selected Pratt & Whitney PW4000-100 engines – with the Advantage upgrade - to power its new Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The contract is valued at more than $40 million at list prices with engine deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2009. The Advantage technology upgrade delivers enhanced engine performance, lower fuel consumption, increased durability and reduced maintenance costs.
