Software designed to enhance motion imagery for the industrial and defence sectors is on display at 2d3.
TacitView enhances motion imagery using techniques such as real-time stabilisation, spectrum optimisation and resolution to improve the baseline quality of the imagery for real-time consumption. According to 2d3 president Jon Damush, it quickly extracts new pieces of information such as the 3D structure of terrain.
“The challenge is that these systems are producing volumes of data difficult to view with human eyes within a reasonable amount of time. Many times salient features and events go unnoticed or undocumented, and critical intelligence information is lost,” Damush says.
