Sagem Défense Sécurité's Integrated Cockpit Display System (ICDS) is available as an upgrade to replace electro-mechanical cockpit instruments on both fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft.

It comprises a Primary Flight Display (PFD), Engine Monitoring System (EMS), Navigation Display (ND) and Multi Function Display (MFD), and is available in any module combination. The ICDS 6-, 8- and 10-inch displays can also show video or other images from externally-mounted sensors.

Sagem has had significant contract wins with ICDS. In the USA, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) chose ICDS to equip its 14 Eurocopter AS 350 Squirrel helicopters as part of a modernisation programme awarded to Sagem Avionics, the US subsidiary of the company located in Grand Prairie. Texas.

ICDS was also chosen for the Squirrel helicopters of the San Diego police in July 2007. And earlier this year, ICDS was chosen to train future pilots of the French Army on the Eurocopter EC-120.

In two years, Sagem has achieved certification for ICDS on a large range of helicopters, including the Bell 406, Bell 407, Bell UH1, Bell 212, Robinson R44, Sikorsky S-61 and S-64, BK117 and EC 120. ICDS is also available for fixed-wing aircraft, including products by Gulfstream, Hawker, Challenger and Falcon.
The product has also been chosen as an upgrade for the Embraer Xingu trainers of the French Navy and Air Force in a partnership with EADS Socata.
