Martin-Baker is showing off the latest high-tech ejection seat to be used in the Joint Strike Fighter.
The seat optimizes various key design parameters to fully meet the F-35 escape system requirements.
The US16E – which has been selected by the US, UK, Italy, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Turkey, Canada and Australia – will be common to all F-35 variants, including conventional take-off and landing (TOL), carrier variant (CV) and short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL).
