US defence aircraft part distributors Aero Precision Industries (API) and Dermon Defence and Aerospace have announced a strategic alliance which sees DDA purchase 50% of API.

“We’re pleased with this partnership because it combines API’s vast knowledge and capability in the international military markets – F16, F5, C130 – with DDA’s customer relationships,” says Eric Dermond CEO for DDA. Dermon was the founder of Derco Aerospace, which was sold to Sikorsky Aircraft in 2002.
