Bristow signed a contract with Eurocopter for two additional EC225 helicopters at Farnborough yesterday. The two companies also agreed a deal that will see Bristow acquire three EC135 light twins, plus one option.
The EC225s will be deployed for oil and gas missions and will be fielded in the second half of 2009. Mark Duncan, senior vice president, western hemisphere for Bristow is pictured (left) celebrating the deal with Eurocopter chief executive Lutz Bertling.
