Cobham and QinetiQ have teamed up to offer a weapon systems integration service to operators of fast jets, helicopters and UAVs. The two British companies bring complementary skills to the new arrangement, which offers to take new weapons installations all the way from feasibility studies and design to full operational capability.
Cobham has a broad range of weapons carriage and release equipment, including lightweight air-to-air missile launchers, smart multi-store carriage systems, and pyrotechnic and pneumatic air-to-ground release units. Farnborough-headquartered QinetiQ is a proven supplier of integration and certification services.
