The Diamond HK36 MPP has made its air show debut near the company's chalet on the static line.
The HK36 on static is equipped with a single camera mount under its left wing. Diamond says the type's underwing hard points can carry a total payload of 50kg. Options include a 15kg camera mount and a 30kg baggage compartment.
The HK36 MPP - MPP stands for multipurpose platform - is a variant of the company's popular HK36 Super Dimona light aircraft.

Diamond foresees several missions for the type such as livestock counting, pipeline monitoring and other surveillance missions. Powered by a single Rotax 914 115hp piston engine, the HK36 can take both leaded and unleaded fuel, giving operators greater deployment flexibility.
The company feels that in certain missions, namely livestock counting, the type is preferable to faster, twin-engined aircraft.
