International Aero Engines (IAE) has extended a package of fleet hour-based support services to cover an order by Mexican low-cost carrier Volaris for 13 new Airbus A320s.
The $400 million deal covers aftermarket services for 26 V2500 engines powering the A320s on firm order by Volaris.
IAE's V-Services flight hour agreement programme already covers the V2500s equipped on the 35 A320s already in the Volaris fleet.
V-Services provides a package of predictable maintenance costs on an engine-flight-hour basis.
